Clear filtersAbout Marukyu Koyamaen
Marukyu Koyamaen is a family tea house in Uji, Kyoto, making matcha since the Genroku era (late 1600s). It is one of the most requested matcha producers in the US, and its tins are often hard to find in stock.
SAINTCHA carries the Marukyu line in the original factory-sealed tins and bags: Aoarashi and Isuzu, two favourites for lattes; Wakatake, a 100g bag made for milk drinks and cooking; and the more refined Wako, Chigi no Shiro, Kinrin, Unkaku and Yugen for usucha whisked with water. Each listing shows the best-by date and what the matcha suits best.
We are an independent reseller in Seattle, not affiliated with Marukyu Koyamaen. Tins ship nationwide, free from $100. When a tin is out, use the restock list on its page and we will email you as soon as it is back.
